The Associate Press reported on May 18, 2008 the death of the two children fatally shot by their father during a disputed child custody issue. The mother of the children blames herself for running out of the house to get help. This is just another example of how traumatic some divorces can be to some families. In this particular case the adults involved had developed great deals of anger for one another. The parents of the two children were sharing custody and it is obvious there was no harmony in this type of arrangement. It is possible the children witnessed and were exposed to some horrible and difficult situations during the legal custody.
